8:00: Drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent,Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century anddedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears aseries of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels,pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man.You’ll also visit the Landmine Museum where Mr. Aki Ra, a child soldier in the Khmer Rouge,has dedicated his life to helping those in need. Having spent most of his childhood fighting forthe Khmer Rouge, Mr. Aki Ra was trained by the United Nations to detonate land mines; Hisfantastic work earned him a nomination for CNN Hero of the Year in 2010.Not to be missed is Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated withcarvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.We visit the Rolous Group including Lolei, Preah Ko & Bakong temple first. This islandtemple consists of four brick towers on a double plate rite platform. 5:00 - 6:00: We start very early in the morning so we can capture the iconic picture of the pre-dawn facing Angkor Wat temple. Sunrise at Angkor

Wat can be a busy venue especially during the monthsof December, January, February and March.After sunrise, we will explore the vast and rich ofAngkor Wat temple, taking pictures at different angles,playing with light and shadows and capturing the mostbeautiful devatas carved in sandstone.

Next destination will be the Ta Prohm "Tomb Raider" fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned tothe elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on,oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left as it was ‘discovered’ by French explorer HenriMouhout in 1860, the tentacle-like tree roots here are slowly strangling the surviving stones, manfirst conquering nature to create, nature later conquering man to destroy.We will get lost in the magnificent Preah Khan temple, one of the best temples to learnphotography.Next, at the Golden Hour, will be the impressive Bayon temple with its 54 towers and 216 facesoverlooking the defunct city of Angkor Thom. The final stop will be at one of gate of AngkorThom to capture sunset over the moat.We go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes, we can get wet in as here we willexperience the ceremony “Srouch Teok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. 16:00: Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the NotreDame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.17:30: Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vastdisplay of the both the Indochina wars.

8:00: Pick up at your hotels in Ho Chi Minh City.The trip to Cu Chi will take you an approximatelyone and a half-hour bus drive.9:30: Before exploring the tunnels, you will watchan introductory video about how the tunnels weremade and how Vietnamese people survived in theharsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend yourtime exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas withkitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, fieldhospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.

11:00: Besides, there are also many hidden trapdoors and dangerous traps within the maze-liketunnels for the security purpose during the war.Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’food during the war) will be served. Break time.

11:30: Have lunch at the local restaurant.

13:00: Continue to visit My Tho city. With boattrip on Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty offour beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise along the riverside.

14:30: Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treating yourself to the beauty of thecountryside, and taking a short cycling around the village which will certainly be anunforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour.16:00: Visit the coconut candy workshop, and enjoy seasonal delicious fruits & honey tea. Get achance to listen to the Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by local people.
