* VISA Requirements
1. Do I need a visa to visit Vietnam?
Most visitors to Vietnam need a visa to enter the country. You can also apply for an E-Visa, which is available to visitors from all over the world and has an extended duration of approximately 90 days.
Tourist visa can only be obtained in Vietnamese embassies, consulates abroad. Otherwise, you can get a visa at the border gates if you are invitees of some Vietnamese competent organs or you are travelling on a package tour organized by Vietnamese travel companies.
2. Vietnam Visa Exemption
As officially announced, as of 2023, citizens of 26 countries can travel to Vietnam and remain in the country for 14 to 45 days (depending on nationality) without having to apply for a visa. To enter Vietnam those citizens only need a valid passport with at least 2 black pages. Full list of these countries can be found below:

1. Is it safe to visit Vietnam?
Yes, Vietnam is a friendly and safe place to travel, keeping a very low crime rate in general, particularly against tourists. The most common issue you should be cautious of is pickpocketing when visiting crowded marketplaces or shopping areas, just as that happens in any other tourist destination. For your traveling with us, you will always have a tour guide with you in each city, so as to ensure you a safe and happy journey.
2. Is it safe to drink local tap water?
Drinking tap water in Vietnam isn't advisable. The preferred option is to use bottled water, which is cheap and widely available throughout the country.
3. What is the traffic like in Vietnam?
Most big cities - Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi – have huge problems with traffic jams. When riding a motorbike, it is important to remember that road conditions and traffic are likely to be a lot different to what is seen at home.

1. What is the official currency in Vietnam?
Vietnamese đồng (VND) is the official currency in Vietnam.
Paper notes include: VND 500,000; 200,000; 100,000; 50,000; 20,000; 10,000; 5,000; 2,000; 1,000; 500.
Vietnamese đồng can be changed into foreign currencies at the airport.
2. Will I be able to exchange Dollars, Euros, or other currencies during my tour in Vietnam?
Foreign currencies and tourist cheques can be exchanged into Vietnamese đồng at banks or foreign exchange agencies. It is also easy to find an ATM in big cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang etc.
3. Can I use credit cards in Vietnam or should I carry cash?
Credit cards are popularly used, especially in cities and big tourist centers. In popular tourist spots, hotels, restaurants, and large retailers, credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard are commonly accepted. However, it's essential to carry some cash with you, especially when visiting remote areas or local markets where card acceptance might be limited.

There are many world heritage sites that you can visit in Vietnam. Some popular sites would be Ha Long Bay, Trang An Complex, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, Complex of Hue Monuments etc.
2. When is the best time to visit Halong Bay?
The climate in the northern region of Vietnam is temperate so be prepared for cold weather in the winter months from December to March. The months of April and May offer sunshine and a refreshing breeze, while September to October are favoured for their cooler temperatures and clear skies.
3. Can I combine my visit to Vietnam with another country?
Yes, you can combine your visit to Vietnam with another country.
